Biography

I became a nurse because I love helping people. I worked for Navicent Health Hospital in Macon, Georgia in the Neuro unit with patients that ranged from head/neck/back surgeries and strokes. I was a telemetry nurse and supervised the telemetry unit for all telemetry around the entire hospital. I have worked with insurance companies doing chart reviews. I worked for a pharmaceutical company traveling around Georgia teaching MS patients how to inject their medication. I’ve worked for Interim Healthcare setting up aids in homes to help elderly patients needing general help with everyday life and did some home health as well. After all that, I went back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner so I could help my patients one on one. Family Medicine Specialist was the place I wanted to be because the providers and staff in this office care about the patients and love what they do.
